Interlingua is proud to be one of the few educational institutions other than universities and community colleges that is approved to do business with the City of Phoenix, City of Tempe and Maricopa County. Therefore city and county employees may be able to receive training at our institution using their tuition reimbursement.

Spanish for Sexual Assault Investigations 
  24 hours
  This class is designed to review vocabulary related to sexual assaults. Learn specific terminology and vocabulary that includes slang terms from various Spanish-speaking countries and explore cultural differences, practice with scenarios, listening, understanding, pronunciation and grammar.    

POLICE DEPARTMENT – DUI
8 hours
Learn specific terminology and vocabulary related to DUI cases, practice in Spanish Miranda Law and Admen per Se. This class is designed for beginning students that need to be able to ask questions, demand actions and understand a Spanish speaking person when pulling over for DUI.  POLICE DEPARTMENT – Police Certification
16 hours
Learn specific terminology and vocabulary, practice with scenarios, listening, understanding, pronunciation and grammar. Class covers Miranda Rights and Admen per Se, Consular Notification. Prerequisite Level 1 or equivalent.
